He is a very exceptional Nile monitor definitely not an ornate because he has more than 5 bands across the back between the shoulders and rear legs but he is a beautiful Nile I usually like the ones that have a lot of yellow in them but wow this one is gorgeous. I lived in Florida all my life and there are always yellow stripe turtles in the creeks and canals. I never know they were called Florida chicken turtles. THE MORE YOU KNOW🌠

The laws are retarded. I live in Virginia and it's illegal to possess more than 5 of any native species. If I had 2 adults and they laid 7 eggs I'd have to gift or euthanized all but 5 to be legal.....I had 33 hatchlings this year and I let em all go in the woods in close proximity to where I have kept turtles from. I only keep turtles that are injured or sitting in the road about to be injured
