Bobbi reminds me so much of my Chinese water dragon Leo who, much like Bobbi, was super confident, intelligent and friendly from the first moment I laid eyes on her. I love having a lizard who enjoys hanging out with me several times each day, curiously exploring around the house and yard, then chilling for a while on my shoulder. Having an intelligent and friendly lizard is just such an amazing experience. It looks like you and Bobbi are off to a great start and I'm very happy for you that you were able to get another one of the animals you've been wanting for a while.

I'm sort of doing it backwards, I got an adult black throat when I was around 13, it was genuinely about 6 foot long and extremely defensive he would tail whip and snap at me every chance he got, I ended up giving him to my friend in which he got out of his enclosure and chased my friends mother around the house, they are intelligent and powerful animals that demand respect anyway im getting an ackie next week can't wait, when I have the space I will buy a baby black throat and do it the correct way, keep up the good work and please do more black throat videos 👌✌

Kenan, sorry but I think you are crazy when you say tame it. Sorry but there is no way you can say with 100% that you are taming a lizard. They are not a dog so I would never trust and especially one that can grow to 7 foot in length. I do like watching your channel, but sometimes I just wonder about ya dude in a good way! Kate I'm with ya, I wouldn't want to hold it. And more power to ya for loving a guy who is obsessed with these creatures....LOL

When i got my peach throat monitor a few weeks she too ate on the first day. Tho mines wasnt handable. Bit me really good on the first day. Strong bite for a baby lizzard but slowly been working on her trust. Today i was able to give her some neck strokes. She give me a few hisses but otherwise stood still lol.

Congrats! I'd say it's a male. Watch closely when he's on your arm, fairly relaxed and curious. Notice the hemipenal bulge at the vent. Could be wrong,(monitor..🤷‍♂️) but educated guess is male. Kenan.. take pictures and videos OFTEN! Don't blink, he'll be 3' in 6 months!🤯 Hugs to the wife.😅 It'll be fine, just make sure he gets LOTS of interaction for the next 6+ months as that's as influential as humans in their first 3 years. You're shaping their reality, after all.
