I can't wait to see Slinky's new enclosure. I'm not gonna lie, I have mixed feelings that he's gonna be sharing it with Miss Pinky, but it's cool that she's getting an upgrade too. I love the idea that they'll be able to see each other all the time and that there will be a door between enclosures that can be opened when she appears to be receptive to the breeding idea. I also love the subtle dig on your former buddy. What an asshat he is. You're absolutely right. Nothing is maintenance free and he refuses to do the work on ANYTHING. He has his buddies help him or he hires it done. But whatever. He is what he is and he's gonna do what he does.

Why is Pinky getting a wading pond while Slinky is getting a larger area to actually swim. It seems like she deserves a larger swimming area. I've noticed females have more energy and need to release it with more activities. So a larger swimming area might calm her more and make her easier to mate with.

She’s a lot smaller and has less room. I’m sure she’ll have plenty of swimming area. It’ll just be ending in a pond less waterfall.

Oh yes I feel Kate's pain as far as the fruity pepples in the sink lol 😆 Just a lil advice as to why we women do NOT like stuff like this shown to the whole world. It is embarrassing the woman of the house and I know it is old fashioned but ppl still think that way and the woman of the house is the one in charge of the house and before we let anyone in our house or in your case show the house, we'd like for it to be presented a certain way 😉 We like things to be and look a certain way and we wish it would be always be kept like that, but with kids and hubby it just doesn't stay like that. And then when the house doesn't look the way how the woman of the house prefers it to look all the time and it's shown on Youtube, then we tend to get very upset 😡 rightfully so! So Kate I got you, I understand the frustration, my hubby and kiddos are the same, but thankfully our kitchen and sink isn't shown on Youtube. I'd go ballistic, so Kate I take my hat off to you for your patience, cause if this was my hubby, you'd notice a big black eye 👁 in his next upload 🤣 I love y'all though ❤

Kenan, how you explained the orientation of the cinderblocks makes sense. You wanted to have the weight borne by the biggest surface possible. PS. Those memory lapses best handled by Keto and b complex with nutritional yeast and/or liver (The more the better) along with a few other supplements. When the liver gets fatty (I know, as I have nafld) then it does not process the nutrients so well and such things as memory lapses and the fatty roll below the belly button occur. See Dr Eric Berg for more data. Unless he understands nutrition (most don't) no psych is going to be able to help with mental problems brought on by nutritional deficiencies or toxins.

By putting the flat idea down it won't bite into the dirt with the added weight as bad as the hole side would. So it'll settle at a more level pace over time and not become uneven and cause breaking as easily. But yes you explained it fine 😉

The recreation pond was $150,000 by itself. He doesn’t get it for free. He purchases all the materials, they just install them for free by inviting all their certified installers. So he probably paid $75-85k for the rec pond.

The best tip is don’t mix species.

It’s asking for trouble. You should never house different species together and the 2 you mentioned have entirely different housing requirements anyhow.

Do you rinse off the baby Cherry head tortoises to get rid of the vermiculite? Or does that just rub off naturally. I wanted to grab them and get them all in water. I'm sure that's not what you're supposed to do. I love your channel so much. Is it hard restraining yourself from going in and just helping them get out of their shell? It would be hard for me to restrain myself because I would just be so excited to get them out of their egg and into my life.
