Hi, have a suggestion. Why not have a massive aquarium built?? That way you can inspect them all the time and they can have the warmer temperatures that they require(80-85f) as the water temperatures will be colder now

Is it legal to get greater sirens, if so you should get maybe a few of those for your habitat. I remember they lived in the canal systems by my old house in florida

@kamp Kenan. Hey, Kenan I have built and ecosystem pond most everything is going well except. I recently enlarged my pond and move my Lilly pads from my bog filter to the main pond and my turtles shredded my plants in a couple of days. Is there anything I can do to get my turtles to leave the Lilly pads alones?

The whole time I'm hearing the JAW's tune in the back of my head while Kenan is cruising in the murky water. Waiting for a gator to pop up with his mouth wide open, trying to jump Kenan lol 😆 But I'm glad these turtles 🐢 are ok and they're sooooo cute 😍 And don't worry Kenan, your neighbor probably isn't surprised anymore, he knows you're a nut lol Just imagine being his neighbor, having visitors, they see Kenan and give the neighbor that questionable look 🤔 And the neighbor just goes like " Don't even ask! That's just nutty Kenan with all his friends" Visitor goes like "What friends, where are they?" Neighbor "Oh they're in the pond!" Visitor 🤔 Neighbor "I know I know, he's "special" with his "special" friends. That's why I told you, don't even ask!" Hope all your amazing animals are doing great 👍 I'm from GA and our Temps were in the 30's lately. Eveytime I checked the temp I thought about Kenan's animals and started hoping they're ok lol That slinky situation scared the hell, even out of me and he isn't even my animal. i hope your swimming attire is beak-resistant. It'd suck to have some reptile notice your toe, conclude hastily that it was a fish, and cast an unpleasant shadow over the rest of your day.

Fly rivers are closely related to softshells and any similarity to sea turtles is convergence. True leatherbacks have in fact nearly lost their shell.

Hopefully they breed in the new pond.

The first turtle was sooooo patient, sitting calmy on Kenan's lap and was okay with Kenan lifting it up and down and almost spinning it around haha Totally loved it! A perfect face/personality combination!
